BODY WAXING

Discover our classic method of hair removal that is all natural and virtually pain free.  Waxing is conducted in the privacy of individual spa treatment rooms. The use of Azulene, Camomile and Beeswax as ingredients in our wax results in a soothing and gentle way to remove unwanted hair. 

Body Waxing will make your skin feel softer and silkier to the touch.  Waxing hair removal for women and men can be applied to many areas including: Bikini, Lip, Chin & Cheeks, Arms, Under Arm, Legs, Buttock, Stomach, Back and Feet. Waxing provides results that are longer lasting than shaving and also reduces hair re-growth with repeated applications.

Physical Depilatory (waxing) is not a new art. Hair removal by waxing has been popular since ancient times. With waxing, the new hair takes weeks to come back, and is softer, lighter in color and much sparser.

Not only are the hairs removed but waxing exfoliates the top layer of dead skin cells, resulting in a softer, smoother, more translucent skin. Waxing often results in a slower hair return. Each waxing permanently destroys some hair roots and space between the hairs increases. Less hair returns and the returning hair becomes finer. Much hair eventually is gone permanently.  For best results, we recommend that you begin Hair Waxing in 3 week intervals. This will promote hair to grow at the same cycle, thus enabling a longer period of hair-free skin between hair waxing.

We regret that waxing services cannot be performed on  clients taking Accutane, Retin A, Renova, prescriptive strength Glycolic Acid or any antibiotics due to skin sensitivity.  Please let your Esthetician know if you are on any type of medication. Waxing skin while on medication may cause a severe reaction and/or damage to your skin. Please allow 24 hrs. after appointment before exposing your skin to sun to prevent burning. Avoid excessive hot showers after waxing; lotions & oils, alcohol, caffeine or aspirin before waxing. Also, before you can switch from razor blade to waxing, you need at least two to three weeks growth.
